About The Armed Scotsman
I’m The Armed Scotsman — an independent reviewer of guns, optics, and tactical gear.
- Born and raised in Scotland
- Lived in the United States for more than 20 years
- Started as Prepper Junkie, rebranded to The Armed Scotsman
- Every review is based on actual range time and real-world use
- No sponsored talking points — I care about reliability, accuracy, ergonomics, and value

- Pistols and red dots
- Optics (LPVOs, prisms, red dots)
- Suppressors and tactical accessories
How I Test
